Abdominal Paracentesis #5 (July 17, 2024)

Just wanted to give you all a quick update on Ali. She had her abdominal paracentesis appointment earlier today.

We had to be there at 8 AM, and they were right on time calling her back. The procedure was pretty quick today, and we were back home before lunchtime. Ali’s dealing with a good amount of discomfort, though, because she has this done so often that her incisions barely heal before they have to open them up again.

They removed three liters of fluid this time, just like all the other times.

Next up, Ali’s got her chemotherapy session next Thursday, July 25th, and then her next abdominal paracentesis is on July 31st.
