Dr. Gibson's Orders (June 19, 2024)

Today, we received an important call from Dr. Michael Gibson’s office with updates on Ali’s treatment. Dr. Gibson has approved two additional abdominal paracentesis procedures to help manage the fluid buildup and provide Ali with some much-needed relief from her discomfort.

We quickly contacted the scheduling department and arranged for the first paracentesis to take place on Monday, June 24th at 8:00 AM.

In addition to this, Ali is scheduled to have a chemotherapy port inserted on Tuesday, June 25th. This port will make her future treatments easier and more manageable, reducing the need for repeated needle sticks and providing a more comfortable way to receive her chemotherapy.
